Some assembly required...
One of the more complex box organizers I've put together, but if you've done these before, it's not too tough to figure out. There are a lot of holders/bins in this one for Base game and Ix expansion(which I don't have), so the assembly process is tedious. But it supplied some big rubber bands for assistance with gluing them together. It does not supply the glue, but any PVA works( I used clear Gorilla Glue). The instructions are pretty clear, but you do have to pay attention to some details about the clear plastic lids(4 are smaller ...3 clear, 1 opaque) and the little ridge on the open bin and assembly pieces. I have put many of these together between Folded Space, Broken Token and this Smonex one, so it was easy for me. It just takes some time. Once completed they are amazing for helping set up and tear down of a game and looks nice in presentation when you can just hand someone a box/bin for their pieces.
This one fit beautifully back in the box, but it does add a bit of weight. The big advantage is that there are a lot of parts in Dune: Imperium, these keep them tidy without a giant stack of plastic bags cluttering up the box. The bonus are the 4 player mats for markers/tokens and leader. Only downside to this one is there is not a ridged spot for the board in there, but that is nitpicky, it looks fantastic!
